Massage circle and goal setting artwork

After reading the book At the end of the day by Trish Puharich the Turquoise reading group taught Room 7 how to make a massage circle. We ended up with a semi-circle but still had heaps of fun:

Last term we all set goals and have started some artwork to symbolise reaching for our goals.

Recount writing

After our sleepover last week we produced some wonderful writing. We have been learning to write our events in order and add some  detail to our stories. Tailah did both in her writing:

Sleepover

We had a sleepover on Thursday night and slept in our classroom. It was heaps of fun. We made kites and lanterns to celebrate Matariki. Checked out the stars and planets using the Skyview app on our iPads and at lots of yummy food.
