Basketball and non-chronological reports

We finally had some fine weather on Thursday so we headed out for a game of basketball. Luckily, we have Matua Ryan in our class so he could teach us some skills.

We also completed our hot task non-chronological report for korero ki te tuhi. Here are some photos of us innovating on the model text and researching our chosen planet:

First rocket launches

On Wednesday we finally got to test our rocket prototypes. The results were interesting! Check out the videos  below. We will be doing some more theory next week - Newton's third law of motion. Then we will modify (and repair) our rockets so the launches will be even more spectacular next time.
