For Health and PE during Lockdown our mahi has been to keep fit on GoNoodle and try some recipes from the Eatwell website.
Ahzaria-Lee adapted the Egg and Bacon Burritos to make Egg and Bacon Toast.
It looks delicious!

Lockdown and change of school holidays
School holiday dates have been changed. We are now on holiday from Monday 30th March until Wednesday 15th April. Have a look at our Room 3 Class Site for online learning starting Term 2.

Get NZ writing and Duffy Books
We finished our postcards for Get NZ writing and they are ready for the courier to collect and take to Oakura School in New Plymouth. We finally got to wear our 3D glasses!
We were also very excited to receive our Duffy Books and couldn't wait to start reading them.

Sketchnoting
We have been using sketchnoting, or visual notetaking, to record our thoughts about our new read aloud, Spaghetti Giraffe and the Egg of Courage. This book has lots of interesting characters!

Poet Laureates and tokotoko
We have been learning about the Poet Laureate for Aotearoa. We used Venn diagrams to compare the last two appointed poet laureates:
New Zealand poet laureates receive a tokotoko made by Jacob Scott. We made our own tokotoko to represent our different personalities:

Mophead and yarn dolls
This week we started reading a fabulous book called Mophead for our New Zealand
Read Aloud. The book is about celebrating our differences and not trying to be the same as everybody else.
