Health Expo

We had a Health Expo on Wednesday. Whaea Gina set up a fitness rotation for us which was lots of fun. We learnt why it's important to get our sore throats checked and how to blow our noses properly. Whaea Rene, the social worker in schools, told us we can see her anytime if we want help with a problem or just feel like having a chat.

Open the Box day

The highlight of the week was Open the Box day on Wednesday when we were presented with our Chrome Books at a special assembly. We headed back to class and opened those boxes!

First week of school 2016

We had an exciting start to the year with a senior school trip on Thursday. First, we visited the HMNZS Wellington in Opua.

The patrol boat was big - 85 metres long!

Then we spent the afternoon at Waitangi. What  a fantastic day!
