First week of school 2016

We had an exciting start to the year with a senior school trip on Thursday. First, we visited the HMNZS Wellington in Opua.
The patrol boat was big - 85 metres long!
Guy gave us a tour of the ship.
This is where the helicopter lands.
Wow!


Then we spent the afternoon at Waitangi. What  a fantastic day!
Lots of flags at Waitangi. The one at the top shows the  Governor-General was there during our visit.
