Cake Stall and Water Safety

We had a cake stall on Friday and thanks to a generous travel subsidy from Surf Lifesaving NZ we now have enough money for our bus to Ahipara.


We also had a water safety lesson where we learned how to identify a rip and what to do if you need help in the water. We practiced the HELP position (heat escape lessening position) to keep ourselves warm.

    Hi room 3 my name is Teina and I go to KWS. Its really good that she came in and talked to yous about swim save.Because if you get caught in a rip you know what to do.
